Ingredients
- 250 g mascarpone
- 150 ml crème fraîche
- 120 g sucre
- 150 ml caramel au beurre salé
- 200 g biscuits à la cuillère
- 4 pommes
- 30 g beurre
Instructions
- Prepare the sautéed apples: Peel and cut the apples into wedges. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the apple wedges and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are golden brown and tender. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Make the mascarpone cream: In a large bowl, combine the mascarpone, crème fraîche, and sugar. Whisk until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the caramel au beurre salé until well mixed; be careful not to overwhip.
- Assemble the tiramisu: In a 23 cm square baking dish, layer half of the ladyfinger biscuits. Drizzle with some caramel. Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the biscuits, followed by half of the sautéed apples. Repeat the layers, finishing with a layer of mascarpone cream.
- Refrigerate: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.
- Serve: Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for an elegant touch. Enjoy chilled.
