Ingredients
- 200 g biscuits sablés
- 100 g butter (melted)
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 200 ml heavy cream
- 3 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 50 ml water
- 100 g salted butter (for caramel)
- 50 g roasted peanuts
- Optional: pinch of fleur de sel
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by crushing the biscuits and mixing with melted butter. Press into a tart pan.
- For the chocolate filling, heat cream in a saucepan until warm, then melt chocolate into it. Stir in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Pour chocolate mixture over crust and bake for about 25 minutes until set.
- Make caramel by boiling sugar and water until golden, then add salted butter and stir quickly.
- Once the chocolate filling has cooled slightly, pour caramel on top and sprinkle with peanuts and fleur de sel.
