Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 kg poulet entier
  • 3 cuillères à soupe miel
  • 4 cuillères à soupe sauce soja
  • 2 cuillères à soupe huile d'olive
  • 1 cuillère à soupe gingembre frais, râpé
  • 2 gousses d'ail, émincées

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. 2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the chicken, skin-side down. Sear for 5-7 minutes until the skin is golden brown.
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.
  4. 4. Once the chicken is browned, flip it over and generously brush the top with the honey mixture.
  5. 5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.
  6. 6. Remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
