Ingredients
- 250 g farine de blé
- 1 cuillère à café sel
- 150 g yaourt nature
- 1 cuillère à soupe huile d'olive
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine 250 g all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon salt. Mix well until evenly distributed.
- Add 150 g plain yogurt and 1 tablespoon olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir with a spatula until a sticky dough forms. If the dough feels too dry, add a little water, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
- Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface. Gently knead for about 1 minute until smooth. Form the dough into a disk approximately 2 cm thick.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the dough disk in the skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the bottom is golden and bubbles begin to form on the surface.
- Carefully flip the bread using a spatula. Cook for another 5 minutes until both sides are golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Remove from the skillet and let it cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before slicing. This bread is best served warm or can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.

Keywords: Use plain yogurt for the best results; Greek yogurt works too but avoid liquid types. Adjust cooking time depending on your stove’s heat settings; make sure to preheat the skillet well for a nice crust. For a flavored variation, consider adding herbs or spices to the dough.
