Description

Délice Feuilleté aux Pommes Festif is a delightful and easy-to-make dessert, perfect for any celebration or simply to brighten your day. This elegant tart combines the irresistible crunch of homemade puff pastry with the warm, sweet flavors of caramelized apples enhanced by a pinch of cinnamon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g pâte feuilletée
  • 4 pommes
  • 50g sucre
  • 1 cuillère à café cannelle
  • 1 cuillère à soupe beurre

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Peel and slice the apples into wedges.
  3. In a medium skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the apple wedges, sugar, and cinnamon. Sauté for 5 to 7 minutes until the apples are tender but not mushy. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to create a circle slightly larger than a 23cm tart pan. Place the pastry into the pan and prick the bottom with a fork to prevent puffing.
  5. Arrange the sautéed apples evenly over the pastry.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow the tart to cool for 10 minutes before serving for easier slicing.

Keywords: Use tart apples such as Granny Smith for a balanced flavor. To avoid a soggy bottom, ensure the apples are well-drained after sautéing. You can substitute butter with coconut oil for a dairy-free version. Serve warm with a side of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for a delicious contrast.
