Description

Indulge in the delightful flavors of Garlic Butter Shrimp, perfectly paired with a luscious Creamy White Wine Sauce. This elegant dish comes together in just 10 minutes, making it perfect for busy weeknights or impressing guests at dinner gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g de crevettes décortiquées
  • 50 g de beurre
  • 4 gousses d'ail, émincées
  • 150 ml de vin blanc sec
  • 100 ml de crème fraîche
  • 1 cuillère à soupe de persil frais, haché

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. It’s ready when small bubbles form on the surface and it emits a nutty aroma.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  3. Incorporate the shrimp into the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally until they turn pink and opaque.
  4. Pour in the dry white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes until it reduces slightly and the flavors meld.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and let the mixture simmer for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp well.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish. Serve immediately.

Keywords: For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with low-fat cream; however, this will alter the richness of the sauce. To enhance flavor, consider adding a splash of lemon juice or zest before serving. Pair with crusty bread for dipping into the savory sauce.
