Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large ears of corn, husked and cleaned
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot or your favorite brand)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). This is crucial for achieving that perfect char on the corn.
- While the grill is heating, husk and clean the corn. Make sure to remove all silk strands for an enjoyable eating experience.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Brush the butter mixture generously over each ear of corn, making sure to coat all sides. Reserve a small amount of the mixture for basting while grilling.
- Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes until the corn is tender and has nice grill marks.
- During the last few minutes of grilling, baste the corn with the reserved butter mixture for extra flavor. Be careful not to let it burn.
- Once done, remove the corn from the grill and let it cool for a minute or two. This will make it easier to handle.
- Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese over the warm corn and garnish with fresh chopped parsley. Serve with lime wedges on the side for that zesty kick.
