- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
- Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)
Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients on the countertop.
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni.
- Add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the mixture and mix until evenly coated. Set aside.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the can of refrigerated crescent roll dough carefully.
- Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
- Lay the triangles flat on a clean surface or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Take a spoonful of the mozzarella and pepperoni mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle.
- Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the pointed end, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Place the rolled croissants on the baking sheet with the pointed end facing down.
- In a small bowl, crack the egg and add the tablespoon of water. Whisk until well combined.
- Brush the egg wash over the tops of each croissant roll.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Warm up marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
- Serve the rolls warm with marinara sauce on the side.
