Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping, optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients on the countertop.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced pepperoni.
  3. Add the Italian seasoning and garlic powder to the mixture and mix until evenly coated. Set aside.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Open the can of refrigerated crescent roll dough carefully.
  6. Unroll the dough and separate it into 8 individual triangles.
  7. Lay the triangles flat on a clean surface or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Take a spoonful of the mozzarella and pepperoni mixture and place it at the wide end of each triangle.
  9. Starting from the wide end, roll the triangle towards the pointed end, tucking in the sides as you go.
  10. Place the rolled croissants on the baking sheet with the pointed end facing down.
  11. In a small bowl, crack the egg and add the tablespoon of water. Whisk until well combined.
  12. Brush the egg wash over the tops of each croissant roll.
  13. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  14. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  15. Warm up marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
  16. Serve the rolls warm with marinara sauce on the side.

  • Feel free to customize the filling by adding diced bell peppers, olives, or crushed red pepper for extra flavor.
