  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out your bread dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle, about ½ inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, melt the butter and mix in minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt. Add half of the grated Parmesan cheese to this mixture.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture onto the rolled-out dough. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. You can add any optional ingredients you want at this stage.
  5. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide, then stack the strips on top of each other. Cut the stacked strips into squares.
