- 2 large chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large whole wheat tortillas
- 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing or your favorite sauce
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine chicken breasts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the spices into the chicken, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan on the stove.
- Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6-7 minutes on one side. Flip and grill for another 6-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Transfer grilled chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- While the chicken rests, chop romaine lettuce, halve cherry tomatoes, and slice avocado.
- Shred cheese if using a block, or measure out pre-shredded cheese.
- After resting, slice the chicken into thin strips.
- Warm tortillas on the grill for 30 seconds on each side or microwave for 10-15 seconds.
- On each tortilla, layer romaine lettuce, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, avocado, shredded cheese, and drizzle with ranch dressing.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll from the bottom to enclose the filling tightly.
- Continue layering and wrapping for the remaining tortillas and ingredients.
- Grill wraps seam-side down for 2-3 minutes on each side for added crunch (optional).
- Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately with extra ranch dressing or dipping sauce.
