Instructions
- Gather all your ingredients to ensure a smooth cooking process.
- Cut the chicken breasts into uniform bite-sized pieces, about 1-inch cubes.
- Season the chicken pieces generously with salt, pepper, paprika, and dried Italian herbs. Mix the spices in a small bowl first for even coverage.
- In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
- If using, add red pepper flakes to the skillet to release their flavor into the butter.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the seasoned chicken pieces in a single layer.
- Cook the chicken undisturbed for 3-4 minutes to develop a golden crust, then flip to cook the other side.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F/75°C).
- Squeeze the juice of one lemon over the chicken for a fresh flavor.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle chopped parsley over the chicken.
