- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup frozen peas or spinach
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, boil salted water and cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti, browned beef, Alfredo sauce, and any vegetables you’re using. Mix until everything is coated evenly.
- Pour half of the mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Add the remaining mixture and finish with the rest of the cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
