Description

These cheesy chicken wraps feature seasoned chicken, melted cheese, fresh spinach, and tomatoes wrapped in a crispy tortilla. Ideal for a quick meal, they are both satisfying and family-friendly!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (optional)
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness on a cutting board.
  3. In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Rub the seasoning mix over the chicken breasts evenly.
  5. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  8. In a medium bowl, combine shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Optionally, mix in a pinch of garlic powder or fresh herbs.
  9. Lay a tortilla flat and place sliced chicken in the center. Top with cheese mixture, spinach, tomatoes, and ranch dressing if desired.
  10. Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards and roll it up from the bottom to the top.
  11. Repeat with remaining tortillas and fillings.
  12. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  13. Optionally, cover the skillet with a lid for a minute to melt the cheese.
  14. Remove wraps from the skillet, let cool for a minute, then slice in half to serve.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the fillings with your favorite vegetables or sauces.
