Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package pre-made sugar cookie dough
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4–5 medium apples (mix of Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, or Fuji)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ cup cold butter (cubed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan or line it with parchment paper. If using pre-made sugar cookie dough, unwrap it and press it evenly across your prepared pizza pan, forming a round crust. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, beat together 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, ½ cup of powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Wash, peel, core, and thinly slice your apples (aim for about 1/8-inch thickness). In a separate large bowl, gently toss the sliced apples with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- In another medium bowl, combine 1 cup of old-fashioned rolled oats, ½ cup of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of packed light brown sugar, and ½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Cut in ¼ cup of cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled crust, leaving a small border around the edge. Arrange the seasoned apple slices neatly over the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle the crisp topping evenly over the apples.
- Place the assembled Apple Crisp Pizza back into the preheated oven. Bake for 25-35 minutes, or until the apples are tender, the crisp topping is golden brown and bubbly, and the crust is cooked through.
- Let the pizza cool on the pan for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
